Court Administration      
The Courts Department consists of two major divisions: Criminal Courts and Civil Courts.  Deputy Clerks in these divisions have many responsibilites including:
  • Filing of new cases;
  • Acceptance of new documents for inclusion into existing case files;
  • Maintenance of court files;
  • Attend court;
  • Compose court minutes;
  • Make court records available for inspection;
  • Provide information to interested parties about Clerk of Courts filing procedures and fees.
